SBLI
Does Broadway 2007
January
2007 saw us undertake our second series of shows to raise funds for
the Society
and the Butterwick Children’s Hospice.
Entitled SBLI Does Broadway, the production followed a similar pattern
to last year, with our young performers showing off their singing and
dancing talents.

The programme was made up of songs from famous Broadway and West End
shows, ranging from evergreen classics The Sound of Music and Grease
to modern favourites such as Chicago. SBLI members from across the age
range put on the kind of slick, lively performance SBLI is becoming
known for. With tickets for both performances completely sold out, a healthy profit
was made for both organisations, in spite of the inevitable high costs
of putting on a quality show.
